"Simona was the absolute best host and her place is fantastic! The location was incredible - right in the heart of old Monterosso where all of the shops, restaurants and markets are located. It’s a quick five minute walk to the beach and about a 15 minute walk from the train station. Simona went out of her way to provide all sorts of recommendations and even made dinner reservations for our family at some of the best restaurants that Monterosso has to offer. I would absolutely come back and stay here without any question. The apartment is very well appointed and clean. The rooftop deck is also a nice bonus for those evening drinks."

"Property was exactly as described and in the pictures! Property was so beautiful and overlooked the beautiful Cinque Terre city and ocean. It was only minutes from the beach. The rooms were beautifully decorated as well. Communication was great and check in was seamless as someone met us at the train. Loved staying here and would 100% recommend!!"

"Loved location. Bedroom was excellent. Such a comfortable bed. There is not much hangout space. Didn't realize this. But we made due, especially with the courtyard. Very interesting history and idiosyncracies. Not sure a big person could navigate the spiral staircase however. I am 6 ft 2 inches and weigh 205 lbs. But if you are bigger than me, could be challenging to get upstairs. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of character."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Gigi’s modern, clean, convenient and well appointed apartment. All communication, both written and in-person, was prompt, detailed and helpful. Gigi recommended restaurants and even made the reservations for us. The flat is very recently redone and the excellent craftsmanship is obvious. We didn’t cook but the kitchen has everything you would need. Bathroom has bidet, rain shower and wand and excellent water pressure. Screens on all windows allows for fresh air without worrying about bugs. No water view, which we knew, but in this area that saves you climbing a massive amount of stairs - the trade off was easy for us. That said, everything you need, including restaurants, shops, grocery and the beach/water is minutes (or less) away. The bed and pillows were memory foam and absolutely delightful. Separate wall mounted A/C units in living and bedroom are new, remote controlled and very effective. Brand new clothes washer was fantastic as we’d been traveling for a week before coming to Monterosso - Gigi even supplied detergent pods. Wall mounted TV in living room went unused but the WiFi didn’t and was fast and reliable. All windows and doors can lock, including the front door which has multiple deadbolts provide a strong sense of security even though Monterosso seems very quiet and safe. There is also a locked metal door to access the steps leading to the front door. Needless to say, we highly recommend the flat for location, quality and value."

"We had such an AMAZING stay in the rental apartment located in a perfect location of Monterosso Al Mare. Everything was just as listed on the ad. We were able to walk everywhere from the apartment easily to/from the train station, to the beaches, to shopping, delicious restaurants and the grocery store is just steps from the apartment entrance. The AC and ceiling fan were life savers with the heat we experienced in June, we were very comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and looking back, wished we would have stayed longer. On our two week trip, we visited Milan, Monterosso, Vico Equense (Amalfi Coast) and Rome and my husband, two adult daughters and myself all agreed that Monterosso was our favorite location/stay. Matteo was so helpful from the time we met to the time we departed. He also was very helpful with advice for navigating to the apartment using the train system from Milan (using WhatsApp). He helped carry luggage to the apartment while giving us a tour and recommendations on the way from meeting at a restaurant nearby. He treated us like family and was avail to answer texts the entire stay. We loved sitting up top on the Terrace and we used the Laundry machine a couple times, so helpful! Everything in the apartment worked properly with no issues at all. We are so grateful for Matteo and this unforgettable stay on our first time to Italy. We highly recommend and hope to go back again someday."
