" Room was perfect for my needs. The hotel grounds are just stunning Breakfast in a castle is pretty top tier! Good options for breakfast and everything was well cooked and delicious, had more a bed and breakfast feels rather than hotel with more intimate table service. I would have preferred better quality and more options with bread, rather than low quality white and brown sliced for toast that was served. I did feel this let down the breakfast. This is the only reason I dropped a star. "

"It's definitely a unique experience staying in the Luxury Castle rooms. The staff were attentive, the food was overall really good, and the Thermal Spa experience was a nice addition to our stay. I would absolutely recommend to stay at Kilkea Castle for at least 2 nights. "

"Excellent stay again at the Silken Thomas. Lovely place, room and area. Great shopping at Kildare Village Retail Outlet and good local sights to see. Used train into Dublin which was easy to get tickets and journey was good."
