"First time visitors to beautiful Avalon! Observations: the hotel was farther away than I expected, having to walk by several other hotels through moderately heavy beach crowds on our way from the ferry port. The hotel staff was very welcoming and responsive. I even scored an early check in on day 1, which I really appreciated. We also enjoyed the fire pit during evening hours, as well as the open beverages & snacks room offered. The hotel was very neat and clean. I enjoyed quiet nights of sleep too :) My only complaint relates to the internet coverage. Reception was nonexistent to poor in our room (room 503), but was excellent outside and in the courtyard. I recommend getting a WiFi extender to remedy the issue."

"All staff members were very friendly and helpful. However, Vanessa at the reception desk is an absolute sweetheart. She is friendly and helpful to everyone no matter what time you check in or out. Also the hotel is smack in the middle of a cute small shopping center."
