"Everything was perfect. In fact, the hotel exceeded expectation in every way. From the minute we arrived, we were met by a porter who brought our bags from the taxi to the hotel, to the welcome drink and introduction of the hotel and island, to the delicious breakfasts, to the friendly professional staff, everything was perfect. The character of this hotel met and even exceeded my expectations. The staff were very accommodating when our ferry was cancelled due to weather conditions (not to say they could do that every time I’m sure depending on reservations but they acted quickly and communicated every step of the way). The private tub is a must and made the experience even more magical. The location is central and perfect for exploring the island, yet still feels private and peaceful. The staff were the sweetest—so thoughtful and attentive. They even made us sandwiches to take on our hike, and it was such a relief to be able to have our laundry done easily during our long trip. We also loved the complimentary breakfast, which was fresh and delicious every morning. Out of all our travels, this was hands down the best stay we’ve ever had. "Thomas is just wonderful! He is so helpful with hotel info and also local recommendations. This hotel is about 8-10 minutes walk from the main part of Fira. When you get dropped off, drivers will get as close as possible though you will have to carry your luggage down to the hotel from the road. We definitely recommend this hotel!! "
