Named after nearby Monticello (home of Thomas Jefferson, just 5 minutes away), this 3-bdrm has it all. Private seasonal saltwater pool (May-Sept), 5-person hot tub, fire pit, and stocked fishing pond are all yours during your stay. Imagine staying in beautiful central Virginia right in the heart Wine Region of the Year surrounded by hundreds of vineyards, breweries, & cideries, plus incredible historic sites and popular stops like UVA, and not ever wanting to leave the house! Welcome to Minicello!

Nicknamed the East Coast Napa Valley, Charlottesville is notable for tons of surrounding vineyards and wineries (not to mention breweries and cideries), and you’ll be in the heart of it all. Only 9 miles to UVA. We’re just a 15-minute beautiful drive from Downtown Charlottesville, 8-minute drive to Monticello, 10-minute drive to Carter Mountain, and just 5 minutes to the nearest vineyard (Jefferson Vineyards).

Seasonal Pool Closing: Sept 15

The home is private to you during your stay and this includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a large open living room space and open kitchen area, multiple porches, and tons of outdoor space. Games and puzzles, card table, reading nook, desk workspace, smart tvs, and so much more. Sleeps 6 comfortably. You will not share the home with any other renters or owners during your stay.

Outdoors include private inground saltwater pool with diving board (inquire for exact open dates- May to Sept annually), 5-person hot tub, 3 porches, outdoor seating, a gas and a charcoal grill, fire pit, and stocked fishing pond!

Full kitchen features double oven, 5-burner gas stove, full fridge, microwave, and custom built bar. Lots of gadgets including all-in-one airfryer/toaster oven, Instapot pressure cooker, and more. Bathrooms feature beautiful walk-in marble showers. Washer and dryer.

Primary bedroom has king bed with in-suite full bathroom. Second bedroom with king bed. Third bedroom has single bed with roll out trundle. Rollaway single bed cot and pack n play also available by request.

Generator backup in case of power outage.

Lower-level and garage are private to owner.

IMPORTANT: Pool is fenced in, but the property includes ungated water sources (hot tub and pond). Children must be supervised at all times.

We had a wonderful time staying in Charlottesville at this property. It was well stocked with everything that we could possibly need, the beds were very comfortable, and our 2 year old grandson had lots of fun exploring the property with us. This is a hidden gem, and we highly recommend staying here.

Great place for vibes

Overall we were happy with the property. The beds were very comfy and the hot tub was amazing. Our one thing to note however is the water in the showers have a particular odor that’s quite potent, so be mindful. Great property managers.

Great weekend in Charlottesville

We stayed here while visiting friends and attending a couple UVA baseball games. Beautiful spot near Monticello and only a few minutes from C'ville. House was really well stocked and comfortable. Host very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.

Awesome house, great location

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. The house was spacious and very clean, with tons of updates - bathrooms, kitchen etc. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets were so soft, you can tell the owners didn’t skim on investing on the things that would make this stay comfortable. The house was stocked with shampoo, conditioner soap, toilet paper, paper, towel, towels, coffee, kitchen linens, dish detergent, supplies for cooking, soft blankets for the living room, robes in the master, games for the kids, and probably more I’m forgetting to mention. We were very impressed. The hot tub was great, worked well and stayed hot. There was firewood for the fire pit. The location was so close to everything – wineries, Monticello, downtown, hiking trails, etc. Check-in was easy, check out was easy, and the owners were very communicative, before, during, and after!

Excellent Girls Trip

I reserved the home for a birthday weekend with a couple close girlfriends of mine. Location was great- delivery food options and Ubers were not a problem at all! Jason and Candace were very communicative prior to arriving and we had no issues gaining access. The home was super clean and the kitchen was stocked with all things to cook, drink and enjoy company. We hope to return when the pool is open!

Charlottesville visit

We had a great visit to Charlottesville. Since it was a hot week the pool was great to cool off in. We thought the location was excellent and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location, great amenities

Everything was exactly as described. Location was perfect. We visit the Charlottesville area often and this is the area we look for the most. Even though our schedule was too packed this visit to enjoy them all, the amenities were perfect (pool, firepit, billiards, etc)! Everything you could possibly need was provided and communication from the hosts was perfect.

Perfect place to stay for a visit to Charlottesville/Monticello

This is an amazing place to stay for visits to Charlottesville/Monticello area. First and foremost, we value cleanliness above all else when renting a home and this place was absolutely spotless. No usual dust or stains hidden in corners – you can tell everything was meticulously cleaned before we arrived. A rare rental home where we felt comfortable walking around without shoes on. The place is quite spacious with a large living area stacked with entertainment options. The kitchen is well-organized and capable of accommodating all your cooking needs as well as offering a new washer and dryer. The best part was the hosts’ attention to details. Whether it’s Brita water and ice cubes, Ziploc bags of different sizes, or various detergents and cleaning products, the hosts made sure the place functioned like a true home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

Hwy 53 Wine Region Rental

This is a wonderful rental in a beautiful, quite and relaxing country setting on Highway 53 about 10 minutes East of Charlottesville. Not only was it close to a variety of activities, restaurants, and the Pedestrian Mall in Charlottesville, it is also within close proximity to numerous vineyards/wineries and breweries as well as historic sites such as Monticello. The rental was spacious and decorated in a manner to create a very relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. The hosts have provided numerous forms of entertainment for adults and children which includes games, puzzles, books, a pool table, a swimming pool, hot tub and fire pits. The kitchen is well furnished with dishes and a variety of cooking appliances and the hosts have provided a variety of teas and coffee. The hosts were readily available for any questions and provided a very positive and friendly interaction. I would highly recommend this rental and would look forward to visiting again during the Summer and Fall.
