I had a great two-night stay at this property in Chicago. The bus stop right in front made it easy to get to Navy Pier, and the location was very accessible. Communication with the property management was smooth, and they were responsive to any inquiries. The place was clean, quiet, and just right for my stay.
We had a amazing stay in this property. The rooms were clean. There is a bus station right infront of the property so its quite easy to travel anywhere from there. Overall I'd highly recommend it.
Really surprised at how beautiful brand new and clean the place was. Gorgeous shared area very large. Felt very safe with using a code to get in the building and in the room. Kitchen was huge with everything I need.
Really affordable and you are staying in an authentic neighbourhood.
Property was actually nice. Beds were comfortable. Key was initially difficult to find but we found it eventually. Convenient bus line into downtown right outside. Area is okay. Definitely dont stay out too late at night. There was street parking in front of the property.
Neighbourhood isn't safe at all. Cleanliness and service overall is pretty good. But you pretty much can't use public transport because of the neighbourhood. Especially at nights.
This is not an Inn, it’s an apartment. There is no guest services, room was clean, bathroom was shared and nasty. People staying here do not keep the place locked so anyone off the street can come in. People were up yelling and screaming at all hours of the night, never staying here again.
I stayed before and I am a local guide on Google Maps, the collection of pictures I’ve posted have over 4 million views.
I like to highlight businesses that are great especially small businesses. In this case i was so impressed that I went to review them on google maps and they weren’t listed. I added them by their name and some time later I was notified that they had received 500,000 views.
This stay went well. I was not pleased the way the gaining access went. Two numbers were texting me and calling all at once it made it stressful
Loved the youthful “guesthouse” nature of the facility, some young guests in another room on our floor, and the young entrepreneurs who’ve started-up this guesthouse and another one. We’re apparently among the early visitors. We were on the second floor (a walk-up) (we’re a couple in our 70s, still reasonably mobile; stairway to 2nd floor could be challenge for some). The 2nd floor can accommodate up to 7, say, for a group, or a smaller number of individuals or couples. Three 2nd floor bedrooms, small, (each with its own digital lock); but spacious common TV, dining area, and modern kitchen, and modern bathroom — all simply but tastefully appointed. The immediate neighborhood is not fancy but seemed safe. A $15 Uber/Lyft ride to downtown, slightly more from/to O’Hare. For us, making a short overnight stay en route to connecting with Chicago friends and rental car travel to a neighboring state, this was an excellent value, and an enjoyable guesthouse experience!

Weekend Date.
We were in Chicago to watch the parade. The place was easy to find. When we went through the gate entered our code then we had 2 doors to choose from, we weren't exactly sure, but we guessed correctly. The kitchen and bathroom and living room area, looked clean. When we entered the bedroom it looked decent. My boyfriend happened to drop his phone on the side of the bed by the wall , when we moved it we found a used condom. (That was gross) the inside of the drawers on the bed were also discusting, one of them had what seemed to be dead skin, and had lots of dirt and hair. The shower was so slippery also, there was no mat or anything to stop you from slipping or falling. Bedrooms can also use hooks to hang coats, also there is one thermostat that regulates the whole house, maybe fans int he bedrooms would help as it was super hot in our bedroom.
First the good part. It's very clean inside and newly remodeled. They come every day and clean up. There is a grocery store nearby and restaurants nearby. The buses are nearby.
The bad part is the neighborhood. When I pulled up there was a person yelling at himself pulling his clothes off. Another person around the corner taking their clothes off. People all night screechy their tires and celebrating on the corner. While I was waiting to get into the building and I had my bike by me somebody rode up by my bike and I put it inside the gate and they said I kill people, punk ass beotch. Lots of actions! And for all the remodeling they did inside they didn't do anything to the backyard. It would be nice to put a fence up and be able to sit back there and smoke and not have to smoke on the front porch and have people accost you. They can make a nice little getaway back in the backyard but they have not done anything. And nobody takes care of the lot next door. That's where all the actions going on.
It was very nice and well maintained, room was super hot without window open but that’s not a big deal, definitely need to me more open about the fact that’s it’s a shared space kind of hostel thing cuz I was unaware till arrival and I’ve seen many others also not get enough warning other then “shared fridge and microwave” on the page but overall good for price

It's a good place if you was traveling with a group. That way your group would get the entire floor.

Overall it was a decent stay. I would come again… it was a little inconvenient considering I didn’t speak Spanish.
