Breakfast has plenty of options with both breads and proteins and helpful staff. Like everything in Venice, the hotel is old. It is clean but a bit run down and in need of renovation. Bathrooms are small and the shower is TINY. Had a great stay overall and would stay here again. "

"The neighborhood is great bc it is not as jam packed with tourists but within walking distance to everything. The hotel is quirky & I loved this about it! Not stale like a chain hotel & not trying too hard to be hip. There is a lovely garden space & a nice restaurant for your morning coffee or breakfast. The staff is friendly & helpful. "I had to find a hotel in Venice with a workout room, specifically a spin bike, and this was one of the only affordable places. It wasn’t in the location I wanted but it turned out to be in a great spot. It was easy to get to from the airport (bus) and it was right next to a vaporetto stop, which took us either up the canal or straight to St. Marks Square. Breakfast was fabulous too, plus they had a nice onsite restaurant, which was handy because we arrived at dinner time and didn’t have the energy to go look for a place to eat. "
