"We stay in a two bedroom apartment style accommodation. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. Pristine cleanliness throughout. The living rom with kitchen and dining area was excellent, espresso coffee maker, tea kettle, dishwasher, washer /dryer a little home making our stay comfortable and relaxing. Yea and coffee provided as were bottle waters. Wonderful shower too! A bit of a walk 1.5 miles from main Edinburgh train station which was not clear from advertisement of hotel. Plan to take a cab. Old town though was only .5 miles easy walk. Place very quiet and restaurants and small supermarket nearby."

"We had a premium king room. The room was about 3 feet bigger than the bed, no place to be other than in the bed. No in room coffee…I know but that’s how I function…but it was free downstairs. A digital heat/air system that had us baffled and cold. On the plus side it was in a quiet area, two blocks off Princess Street and 15 minutes walking from Dean Village. "

"Rooms were quaint and clean. Staff cordial and friendly. WiFi was terrible and cell phone reception best on the street. Television channels were spotty and some never showed the picture. Location is excellent."

"A basic hotel which should be budget prices but we paid £185 for one night. The room smelled like it had been cleaned with a dirty cloth/mop. No coffee machine - sachets. Only normal tea. No biscuits. Tv signal awful. Impossible to watch. No glasses in bathroom. Breakfast was poor - scrambled eggs were so dry, no other egg options, basic bread to toast - no sourdough, no fresh juice - it comes from a post mix machine, coffee not great. Reception staff were very pleasant."

"Great location and a really nice welcome from staff. However, very slow service at the bar when there was only a few people in dining area. The bed was extremely hard and the pillows were flat so we slept poorly. We were in a room facing another building so no view and next to the main AC generator so the noise was loud and constant. Other than this, the breakfast was really good with a wide selection but I don’t think we will return."

"We stated at the Moxy, it is within walking distance from Haymarket station and centre of Edinburgh. The hotel was clean, tidy, rooms were comfortable and a decent size. Would definitely stay again."

"Good value, exceptional service. Has the base amenities needed in a convenient location to setup a home base for touring Edinburgh. The smaller rooms are ideal for active on-the-go singles or couples traveling light and need a clean room to cover basic needs."
