"We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean with lovely light filled bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped- it genuinely had everything we could possibly need to cook a three-course meal.The pool was simply divine and such a joy to come back to each day, and having the beautiful herb garden on hand was a lovely touch. We especially loved the walk down to the river for an alternative swim - it was such a peaceful and delightful part of our stay. We felt completely at home here and would happily return in a heartbeat. A truly special place."

"A small elegant hotel in the French countryside. Charming helpful staff who could speak impeccable English when my French was failing 😂 Small details in the room, heated towel rails, pool towels, poolside shoes and robes. Dinner was delicious and the staff had gone above and beyond to find lobster which they prepared in a tarragon sauce for a birthday dinner. I have no complaints whatsoever."

"Lovely gite in a very quiet area. The gite was very clean on arrival and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Lots of storage in the bedrooms and it was great having 2 bathrooms. As we stayed for 2 weeks we were provided with fresh linen and towels for the second week, which was really appreciated. The pool was excellent and very refreshing, especially as we stayed during a heatwave and the temperature was topping 38oC. We couldn't keep our boys out of the pool! The gite is very short walk (less than 5 minutes) away from the local shop and restaurants. We were lucky enough to attend a night market in the square, which is a great experience. A car is a must in order to visit the other nearby villages and towns.Unfortunately, because of the heatwave, the gite was very hot and uncomfortable at times. Fans were provided, which did give us some relief, but it is something to be aware of if staying in the summer months, especially with ongoing climate change. Also, the mosquitoes are an absolute nuisance. The gite owners have been really proactive by installing nets on all the windows, but when you go out you can get bitten even with deet on!Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the gite. Just wish it had been a little bit cooler!"

"Superbe gîte rien ne manque. Charme authentique avec matériaux nobles. Katarina est très prévenante et nous avons eu un très bon accueil. Le lieu est magique avec une superbe terrasse et superbe vue sur la Dordogne. Très bien placé pour visiter la dordogne. Le plus la piscine et la salle avec ping pont baby foot etc..."

"Notre séjour avec enfants et petits-enfants -nous étions 19- fut excellent : beauté des lieux, variété des activités permettant à la fois d'être tous ensemble ou de se retrouver qui à la piscine, qui au ping-pong, qui à la pétanque... Aucun souci de confort.Ce beau domaine des Falaises en pleine nature nous a aussi permis de découvrir les beaux sites environnants. L'accueil était plein de promesses et elles ont été tenues !"

"A lovely, large and shady accommodation that allowed us to have a wonderful holiday. The house stayed cool despite the heatwave, though it was really appreciated to have the Aircon available when it was needed. The house itself is very spacious and the kitchen is really well stocked. Alain is a great host and Tremolat is a lovely little village. Would definitely recommend!"

Nothing was too much trouble, they have excelled and work so hard to keep the place as beautiful as it is. The place is simply stunning, everything was perfect and the pool was amazing.
