"As always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter. "

"Amazing host. Accomodations were comfortable and clean. We were very surprised to see the kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, fresh fruit and a few other goodies. The host goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Perfect for two people, highly recommend staying at the Shalom Cottage."

"We were two families and my parents. The cottage was a perfect little addition to let my parents have some privacy. Loved the pool and all the floaties/toys. We ended up just enjoying ourselves at home for much of the trip when we weren’t participating in my cousin’s wedding festivities. Was nice to walk down to the marina restaurants too. Only complaint is that the house is a little older so things like outlets/lights/drains were a challenge at times.Greg was super communicative and helpful. "
