"I traveled with my wife and two kids. The property is just in front of the beach and you are surrounded by jungle. The rooms are excellent, the staff is amazing and the food was delicious. It is very private and you can walk through amazing trails to nearby beaches. There is parking on site. Do consider driving a 4x4 so you can get all the way to the hotel as there is a short drive on sand before reaching the property. I took advantage of the spa and had an incredible massage. Gorgeous views of the ocean right out your window and the multiple pools to cool off in with the heat. Swimming beaches were a short drive away if you wanted to swim in the ocean."

"There are vacations you enjoy, and then there are vacations that become part of your family’s story. This was the latter.Nestled high in the mountains above Santa Teresa, this home is spectacular. The views are breathtaking, the privacy unmatched, and the setting feels like your own little paradise. The drive up isn’t for the faint of heart, but it quickly became part of the adventure. By the end of the week, we were laughing every time we made the climb, with Ella Langley providing the soundtrack.The home is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and luxurious while still feeling warm and inviting. It was also the perfect backdrop for countless photos of my three teenage daughters.Josefina was an exceptional host. Thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our family had an unforgettable stay. Every recommendation was spot on, and every detail was handled with such care.The daily housekeeping and maintenance team kept everything pristine. And Sergio deserves his own five-star review. While he doesn’t technically come with the house, by the end of the week it certainly felt like he did. His breakfasts were incredible, and starting most mornings gathered around the table enjoying his cooking became one of our favorite parts of the trip. He became one of the reasons we’ll always remember this place so fondly.This isn’t just a place to stay. It’s an experience. Five stars simply don’t do it justice. We cannot wait to return."

"Wonderful property sitting on the top part of the mountain. The daily cleaning and concierge service is a plus. 4x4 is a must and a regular car will not make it up the steep hill. They also offer laundry service with a small fee and it comes back same day folded neatly. We saw nearly 17 different bird species and there is a very chill iguana that hangs by the pool."

"The property is beautiful, Tomas is incredibly helpful and passionate, comfy bed, nice pools, yummy breakfast (bread/ jellies, coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruits, eggs) & close to beaches and Bioluminescent tour in secluded area so plenty of nature to enjoy. The entrance sidewalk is steep so wear hiking/tennis shoes not sandals/ heels, Tomas did offer to help us bring our bags up which was nice but just be aware it may not be accessible for everybody. There is no in room coffee maker (provided at breakfast) or television but great wifi so I was able to stream Disney on my device when I wanted & it allows you more time to enjoy nature, also the fridge in the room was pretty big and you can flush toilet paper down toilet and there was a clothes hanger on the porch which came in handy for our wet clothes, I did not see a safe in room, and it was helpful to have a 4x4 vehicle to get there. My only complaint is the AC didn't get quite cold enough (but that was a pretty common theme in CR with the humidity at the end of May), there was a fan in the room which helped and I was able to still sleep comfortably. Tomas did offer laundry service for $8 which was very helpful because we had a load of dirty/wet clothes- they washed, dried and had them folded in our room when we got back that evening. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend the property, amenities & staff!! Thank you Tomas for your hospitality."
