"The rooms smell like cigarettes smell And water leaking in the bathroom room.. Sad because it was not like this three yrs ago on my last stay..looks run down hotel.. Not worth the stay…"

"This was the worst motel 6 I have ever visited. The attendant was unhelpful when I lost money in the vending machine. The lobby, old and shabby, had 2 chairs. The rooms were decent, but had no area to put your belongings, no closet, no mini fridge, no comfortable lounge area or hairs and the window opened to the parking lot, so we could not open it. The outlets were partially covered by a new wood paneling. The towels were not big enough for a 5-yr old, let alone grown adults! The amenities were so small, only enough for 1 person. The walls are paper thin and we literally heard a verbal threat of violence (which we reported) … the person verbally threatened to shoot someone and still was not kicked out or arrested."

"I spent one night at WoodSpring Suites, Newington, on a business trip. This is a new property and the room was clean. The elevator and hall smelled odd. The hallway could have been a cooking smell, but the elevator was something else, and quite unpleasant. The room strongly smelled of a disinfectant when I arrived. That dissipated overnight. If strong odors both you, this is not a good choice. (I am not that sensitive to odors, so I was able to tolerate the room.) If you like to run, bike or walk, there is a nice path less than a half block away, which parallels the high speed bus route to Hartford, with a high protective fence. I enjoyed my run."

"The manager, she was wonderful! They didn’t have a room for us after I had a reservation, booked weeks ago . 3 other families were there without rooms at the same time as we were and had reservations. The place was a dump! Mold etc. The male employee behind the desk was rude. Simply stated they didn’t have any rooms and the ones that were empty in his exact words, “had bugs”. The lady manager was incredible! She only started the week prior and was trying to help everyone. She was clearly overwhelmed and things were out of her control but she was the only one trying to help Beware of this hotel!"
