Situated on two wooded acres, and surrounded by beauty, our cabin feels a world away. Once you arrive, you won't ever want to leave.

The Space:
Our cabin offers comfortable accommodations for up to 4 guests, with a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the spacious loft. Enjoy the ease of cooking at home in the fully equipped kitchen or fire up the grill for some alfresco dining among the trees. Unwind in the evenings sitting around the fire pit telling ghost stories and roasting marshmallows. When it gets chilly outside, cuddle up in the living room, listening to music or watching your favorite show on the 50-inch smart TV.

The cabin sits on 2 acres of woodland, with plenty of areas to explore. Take a nature walk across the creek bed to admire the beautiful mountain landscape. Expect to be visited by the local family of deer. When you're in need of some fun play a game of frisbee golf, corn hole or Bocci. Finish the night lying in the hammock, gazing up at the stars.

Outdoor:
Grill, dining table, roomy outdoor sofa, Adirondack chairs, Hammock, fire-pit. Games: frisbee golf, corn hole, ladder toss and Bocci.

Guest Access:
Guests are granted complete access to the entire residence. For your convenience, a self-check-in system is in place, facilitated by a smart lock that utilizes an exclusive code designated solely for your use.

Guests will not have access to 2 closets and the outdoor shed which will be locked for
supplies and specialized equipment.

Check-in Process: All guests will need to complete our secure, online ID Verification process to receive the door code and check-in instructions. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
1. I agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
2. I acknowledge that I will be required to provide a copy of a valid government issued ID and matching credit card through our online portal prior to check in.

Early Check-in Requests
We cannot guarantee an early check-in before 4pm as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please message us on the day of your arrival to see if the property is ready no earlier than 2pm.

Getting Around:
You will need a car to get around Florissant. Keep in mind that some roads in the area are dirt roads, including the roads leading to the cabin. All roads are well maintained and regularly plowed during winter months. Listen for local weather reports to decide if a 4x4 vehicle is necessary.

Other Things to Note:
We require a refundable hold on your card for damages (released after checkout) OR you can opt out with a small fee by purchasing a damage waiver to stay insured throughout your stay.

Environmentally Friendly Cabin:
Our cabin is almost entirely self-sustaining. Power is solar, water comes from our well and all waste is properly treated and returned back to the earth.

Age Requirement:
Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.

Dog Policy:
This house is dog friendly for up to 2 dogs maximum. Dogs are welcome for an additional fee of $75 per dog. All dogs must be approved before check in. No other animals are permitted unless they are service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Please use the provided dog blankets to protect cabin floors and furniture. Thank you in advance!

Smoking Policy:
NO SMOKING of any kind inside the cabin.

Quiet Hours:
1000 PM per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.

Fire Safety:
Wood burning fireplaces or open fires are prohibited due to safety
precautions. As an alternative, there is a propane fire pit that works just as well for outdoor enjoyment. Please review Colorado wildfire prevention tips and resources to help prevent wildfires and protect our great outdoors.

Security Cameras:
1. The property has 2 cameras. One is positioned at the back of the house in a tree, facing the back deck. The other is mounted on the shed, facing the front deck.
This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited. Cameras are turned off when guests are present.

Reminders:
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please be cautious of the steep creek bed at the back of the property. Especially at night, as it can be hard to see.
-Cell phone service is not great in Florissant, but once you connect to our Wi-Fi, using your phone should be no problem.
-Please be careful with the plumbing. We are on a septic system with a leach field. Very few things can go down the drain. Dispose of all food in the trash.
-The dryer is electric and can take more than double the amount of time to dry clothes. As an alternative, hang clothes to dry on the provided drying rack.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are allowed during your stay.
- To ensure a smooth and comfortable stay, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of power consumption. Running multiple high-power appliances simultaneously may cause temporary power interruptions. To avoid any inconvenience, please stagger the use of major appliances like the oven, microwave, and space heaters.
