"Very nice property convenient located to go to concerts at the palace"

"I want to make clear I have never stayed downtown with pets before. Never even thought about where the dogs would go potty. The hotel is pet friendly so thought they would have an area for them. The nearest grass area was in the ally a bit away. Would not have taken the dogs out by myself, got my husband up to come with. When checking in the attendant kept taking other people even though we had two dogs in the lobby just waiting. Finally someone let us go ahead when the attendant called her next. Not sure what that was about. On another note, the location was nice we were able to walk to the Evan Williams experience(distillery) and stop on the way back for dinner. Many restaurants in the area to pick from. Was a nice experience to see downtown Louisville. Would I go back with my dogs, no, but I would go back, without the dogs, if I want to venture downtown more."

"Our 6-night stay in Louisville was as comfortable and enjoyable as any hotel could be. The staff was very helpful from the moment we arrived to our checkout. The breakfast each day was very good, and the accommodations were clean, comfortable and inviting. If we are ever in Louisville again, we will definitely choose Townplace Suites Marriott Downtown!"

"The hotel was sketchy, old, needs a upgrade, the lady at the front desk rude, unfriendly, I asked a question and I felt like I bothered her. Parking lot scary needs more lighting. Room was okay heard a lot of noises all night. The whole vibe just didn't feel right. Inside the hotel stinky, for that many rooms there should had been more people there. If I could had cancelled I would had but it was too late luckily we left early next morning, didn't eat breakfast. I would never stay there again. "

"They Nickle and dime you for everything. They should at least provide you fresh brewed coffee in the lobby. A cookie, apple, or orange. Come on. 2 free bottles of purified water in your room! Really? You'd expect more for a high-end hotel with a $350 per night room (excluding taxes and fees). I know you are a business. But this model of squeezing your customer for every penny is horrible. At this price, you can do better."
