I don't think it is possible to rate Ashford Castle as anything less than a full 5-star experience. In fact, if I could give it six stars I would. The level of customer service is so far above and beyond the call of duty it almost takes your breath away. Yes, it is expensive. But it is truly worth every penny. This place was amazing and so glad we took a chance with no posted reviews. I will say the only down side is the two twin beds were not separated when looking at pictures provided.

We had such a good time here, the location is excellent, there is a lake a walk of 3min in front of the hotel. It has fireplaces in the front room with board games and original furniture, enjoyed every minute of our stay, the food is so good it worth coming for it on its own. If you are looking for a place on this part of Ireland look no more. Its amazing!

We had a fantastic time. The Wolfhound walk was so nice and he was hysterical. We also had dinner at George V, which was an amazing experience. However, the thing that I will never forget was the school of Falconry. We did the 90 minute Hawk Walk and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life!

Gleeson's Townhouse & Restaurant was the highlight of hotels (12) during a three weeks trip in Ireland. We were met with tea and scones (my ones favorite of the trip). I always stay at The Park when visiting Mayo...and The Park just keeps getting better! The breakfasts and lunches and dinners are outstanding. The service is outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable. The room cleanliness is exceptional.The location is great, too. I come in from the USA, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Stayed at the Wyatt again for the first time in years. Their prices had gotten high for awhile but seemed to come down again. It was nice to be back. This is a stunning property with very professional and friendly staff. There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). The Kinvara Guesthouse is a jewel. It's big-city lodging in a small, cozy Irish town. It's the kind of town one sees in Irish travel books and brochures. Parking is available in front of the guesthouse, on the street, essentially. They have an elevator (lift) which was a big help for my wife (and me with our luggage). We loved this place. Watched the sunset from the beach there. The bartender, Paddy, was friendly and funny. This was our favorite stay in Ireland.

The Mariner hotel was a great stay for us . So conveniently located in town . Clean and great breakfast! Would stay there again !
