"We stayed for work in a junior suite and were disappointed with the condition of the room. The décor was dated, the furniture was very tired and grubby, particularly the sofa, and the table surface was sticky enough that we had to clean it ourselves. Both bathroom sinks were blocked and required a visit from maintenance. Overall, the room did not meet the standard you would expect from a suite, especially in terms of cleanliness. On a positive note, the pizza we ordered from the hotel’s Italian restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately, breakfast was poor. Service was extremely slow—we waited a long time for tea and coffee—and the sausages lacked flavour. Once again, the table surface was very sticky. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, and the hotel is in a beautiful setting with the potential to be something really special. However, given the current condition and lack of care, we would not choose to stay again."

"Came here to see the Hothouse Flowers play but was super impressed with the hotel and grounds. This was a lovely getaway vacation and I highly recommend for a quick trip out of Dublin. Get away from the hustle and bustle. Wonderful lobby area, great breakfast. The spa and pool looked amazing but I didn’t get time to utilize. Maybe next time!"

"Room dreadful with view of roof, no housekeeping coffee and tea making facilities not replenished. Staff were fantastic, Breakfast was brilliant, Bar is jaded looking. Handles on men’s toilet door need to be replaced as the cannot be cleaned properly as they are coroded. Would not stay there again it’s very remote and the roads are dangerous."

"Stayed for one night and now need an excuse to return there for more! Cathy is an excellent host. Friendly and attentive but also gives you your own space. The rooms are very well appointed (we had the opportunity to peek in all of the B&B rooms) and absolutely spotless. The breakfast and seating area is bright, spacious and airy but the pièce de résistance is the breakfast! Oh my… Vegan/Vegetarian/Coeliac? No problem? Everything served was delicious. Fresh fruit, fresh coffee, Avocado you name it and the Irish Fry was sublime."
