"Gene and Elizabeth were amazing hosts. So inviting and friendly and helped with suggestions which all turned out to be great. Breakfast was top notch. Rooms are nice but walls are thin. Safe area and walkable into town. Highly recommend. "

"Great stay and room. Within walking distance of any sights and bus line of needed. Staff eager to help with questions on where to go and how to get there. Free shuttle to and from airport! "
"The building is very old (the oldest hotel in Alaska) but it was a great stay. I never had any issues. I couldn't open my window because I was on the 2nd floor and the building looked to be built into the mountain so there was a lot of foliage right outside my window, but they provided a box fan. There was a Daddy Longlegs spider on the ceiling but I left him alone and he left me alone. I would stay here again."
"Overall the stay was good. There were some strange things, and not enough storage space in most rooms as closets, etc. was locked. The tenant on property was rather rude. "
"Everything was top notch and would definitely stay there again, and the view is spectacular. I do have one complaint that nobody would know when or how an appliance would stop working, it was the washing machine. It wasn’t the end of the world but we made it through it. Thank you again "
