"Such a cute little hotel, great pool open 8am- 8pm. The front gate is locked so you have to have someone let you in but we never had an issue with having to wait for someone. Room was small but very well maintained and clean. Breakfast was not included and small menu but was pretty decent. Nice location, about a 20 minute walk into the walled city, and we would recommend the restaurant taco taco which is like a 2-3 minute walk away from the hotel. Overall great experience here, would recommend"

"Very beautiful"

"Stayed 7 nights and regretted it almost immediately. The photos are completely misleading. Here's what actually awaits you: Broken safe (staff shrugged and walked away), no nightstand between beds so everything goes on the floor, mattresses hard as concrete, no headboard so you wake up hitting your head on the wall, and a 2-inch gap under the door giving mosquitoes full access to your room all night every night. Bathroom had one random water temperature, toilet seat wouldn't stay up, and towels were sprayed with strong perfume instead of properly washed - some had stains. Housekeeping is a joke. You have to beg for basic cleaning. I had a mango juice stain on my sheet - they 'cleaned' the room and the stain was still there. Never changed the sheets at all. Electricity and WiFi went out mid-stay. Front desk response? 'Yeah that happens.' No apology. Nothing. Exposed electrical wiring near the AC unit and loose stairs complete the safety hazard experience. This specific hotel is being run like nobody in charge has ever stayed in a real hotel. Expedia should seriously reconsider this listing. 😡"

"The staff are all great. The hotel needs a few modern touches. The pool needs a net to stop birds from doing what they do and the Internet is slow and bad. please upgrade to faster speed internet that would justify the room cost. for Anyone that has to work remote this might not be the place for you. Would I stay again ? Yes but they're are other hotels in that same area that are much better. The staff again was A+"

"The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, so it was good for a short one-night stay. The wifi did not work properly and the water pressure in the shower was very low, but it was overall alright. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, but there was no comforter, just a single bed sheet. "

"Amazing place for solo travellers/backpackers! Very cozy hostel with amazing staff! Very friendly, kind and polite staff! I felt at home with them around. Very close to the airport! 3mins walk from airport to hostel. There is NO shuttle bus as the hostel is very close to the airport, what they offer is a guide/helper to get you from the airport to the hostel. Can be misleading. A/C in bedroom which is SO needed in Cartagena! There is not mini fridge if you ever wanna keep your drinks cold. Good luck with that! Breakfast is 10/10! Amazing service! They serve you at the table! It's not like the American/Canadian breakfast services where you serve yourself like a buffet. Pretty much like a restaurant, they offer you a menu and you choose. Juice/coffee/hot chocolate included, there's an entrée then your main course! Really great! Worth it for the price! Would definitely book again if I ever go back. Almost 50 mins walk to the center! Next to beaches! Really satisfied! Only downside, is that you need someone to open the door from a distance, every time you wanna leave/come back to the hostel. Which can be inconvenient for some. Overall, easily a 8/10 for the price! Don't expect luxury or modernity! It's a hostel! "
