"Terrible Experience – ADA Violation, Unsanitary Room, and Unauthorized Charges I booked a stay at AmeriCoast Inn through Expedia, and the experience was unacceptable. The room was extremely unsanitary and had a strong foul odor, making it unfit for occupancy. Despite declaring my son service dog and providing ID upon check in the hotel. I was charged $250 as a “pet fee”, the next morning which is a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Then lied they about the stay and said my son nor I stayed there and finally admitted it when I submitted proof!! The room smelled horrible , like sewage and mold , stained towels , rude weekend workers. NO ICE machine and the ocean view lol there isn’t also , you can hear everything and because they basically stole money we had to sleep in the car the second night of the (smell)because we had nowhere to go causing my account to be overdraft Expedia representatives refused to escalate the matter or assist, leaving me financially harmed when the unauthorized charge caused my account to go negative. Both Expedia and AmeriCoast Inn failed to provide basic consumer protections, including a safe, clean room and proper handling of a service animal. I cannot recommend this hotel or Expedia and strongly advise future guests to proceed with caution. Expedia refused to help or escalate, leaving me financially harmed. I do not recommend this hotel or booking through Expedia. Reporting to all proper authorities "

"Room had no microwave and had sugar ants in it. Didn’t notice until was bed time and they was crawling on the nightstand and on the blankets. Took a shower next morning and there was black hairs 3 of them on shower wall. "

"Comfy beds, great breakfast with a ton of variety…amazing views of the ocean as long as there isn’t fog, but even then very pretty. "

"Wifi was horrible, we just used our own data. Room was big and clean, bed was very comfortable. Casino was fun!"

"The views are spectacular and the outdoor deck is a great place to spend your time. We were fortunate that the weather was very nice for a couple of days in a row and spent a lot of time outdoors. The cabin is very much like a cabin, very worn out. It has character but lacks in many areas that a updated home would provide. "

"This place is perfect for a getaway to enjoy the beach and ocean. There are steps down to the beach which were built firmly and strongly...we never felt nervous about taking them (some places have steps that are a little dangerous). Plenty of room in the house and the place is kept up well. We are looking forward to our next visit."
