"Nice and clean, well decorated but small. Very noisy road, and very hot throughout our stay. As the inside temperature never dropped below 24 degrees (19th to 24th June), we tried to leave bedroom windows open at night, but only did so for an hour on the first night, as there is so much traffic for most of the night, roaring up and down, so not had a lot of sleep. Took coffee bags with us as no coffee maker, as per previous reviews. Power shower was pretty weak but sufficed. Very small...

"The hotel is about half a mile or so off the coast and it's nestled in its own grounds across the road from some nice public paths with beach access. The hotel is in lovely shape, and been decorated very tastefully throughout. Our large bed was very comfortable, and the room's client controls were easy to use. "Surf Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything one might need and was well designed. The cottage was very spacious and tastefully furnished throughout. The outdoor courtyard area to sit in was an added bonus. Great position with shops, pubs, eateries and the sea front right on the doorstep. I would love to return for another stay. Thanks too for the Welcome Gift goodies, Richard and Fran."
