"We had a wonderful stay at Hurst Farm in Crockham Hill. The place was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed with real taste and attention to detail, you can tell a lot of thought went into making it comfortable and welcoming. The setting is peaceful and charming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Victoria was a fantastic host, friendly, responsive, and made everything feel effortless from start to finish. "It was an amazing stay. Really enjoyed staying at Matties Loft. Accommodation included all the facilities you would standardly require and more on a trip and was super clean. Host was really great and friendly, we felt welcomed. Should mention that our dog also really enjoyed the trip also as we took advantage of the lovely countryside walks and beautiful scenery. We would stay again :)"

"Cons-no main light in the back bedroom. Had to use bedside table light.-as in the photo there are a few Gauguin paintings of a naked ladies (not great for little ones).-in the second bedroom, the cupboard is full of the owners stuff so there is no where to hang anything.-stairs to the bedrooms are rather steep with floating stairs.-in the back garden there is a side light by the gate but the rest of the garden is in darkness, none of the solar lights work.-different levels of floor between the living room (low door height), kitchen, bathroom & a small step into each bedroom at the top of the stairs.-another trip hazard between the conservatory and the kitchen.-the front door doesn't have a key (certainly that we could find, we did find the key on top of the fridge to the old red car stuck on the drive) but worried that our only emergency exit was through the kitchen and into the conservatory. Even if we had found a key to the front door, both the sofa and lamp are far too close to the front door, that we'd never get through.The final issue was returning Wednesday afternoon to find a baliff letter stuck to the window of the conservatory door in the back garden. This really unsettled us as we didn't know whether they'd return. The back gate to the garden can't be locked as door and fence post are at different hights and the catch to open the gate is easily accessible either side for entry to the house. We felt really vulnerable.-We did email Vrbo who didn’t reply."

"Our stay at Josie’s Snug was so perfect and exactly what we were looking for/needed! Adam was really helpful with communicating up to our stay and Jenny could not do enough to make sure our stay was complete when we forgot a few bits! We took the train in and grabbed a taxi up which was no trouble. The additional touches of croissant and jam and bathrobes were very welcomed. The hot tub was incredible. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. And the lake - what can I say? It was the highlight of our trip - pristine water and grounds offering a refreshing swim on warm days. This is just the perfect getaway if you’re looking to switch off from city life. We will definitely be back again."

"A gorgeous ancient (C16th?) house in a peaceful hamlet with lovely new floors/bathrooms etc. The weather was hot so our favourite thing was the big wooden table and comfortable chairs outside under a beautiful grapevine, felt like being in the South of France!"
