A very comfortable home away from home with many extras and just across the street from the conference that I was attending. It's in the centre of historic George Town and a scenic walking path goes past the property . I appreciated the free internet, soft drinks, real coffee and fresh milk, not to mention the sauna. The owner/mangers were welcoming and helpful but unobtrusive.

Centrally located in Scottsdale, near cafes, churches, supermarket and other amenities. The beds were comfortable, the window dressings blocked light at night enabling sleep. The gardens were accessible and pleasant to spend time in. The on-site Thai restaurant in the old house on the property was elegantly appointed with good portion sizes and tasty food. We enjoyed our stay.

York Cove Hotel is in a very picturesque location, across the cove from George Town. It is a self-managed hotel so there is no one on the premise to help you but the manager answered the phone since I didnāt receive any check in information ahead. The pool was not in operation but the room and bathroom is very spacious and clean. The area is beautiful, nice place to relax for a few days.

I was a bit wary entering through the game room from the back parking lot, but what a delightful surprise to find a beautiful, roomy, fully updated room! They have clearly put great care into renovating this historic hotel. We enjoyed staying there.

Reception was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. There are a number of steps up to the hotel from parking but there is an entrance on the side where someone could be dropped off/picked up if they couldn't manage the steps. The room was very clean and my bed was very cozy and comfortable. I walked to the park with the monkeys which was very close, then downtown and then to the gorge along the zigzag trail and back which made for a long walk but was doable!
