"The room was lovely, with a nice private terrace. Guesthouse Fortyfour is in the middle of the walled city, so it was a busy area with loud music from a nearby bar at night. The windows are well sound-proofed, which helps! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Thank you to the Guesthouse team!"

"Perfect location! Very comfortable bed. Everything we could possibly need for our stay. We picked it because it was right in the heart of old town. That said, it’s right in the heart of old town so you can hear a lot of happy people having a good time until quite late. Stay here anyway and bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. "

"Beautiful room located in the heart of the walled old city in Dubrovnik, near shops and restaurants, our favorite was Soul Kitchen. Wine garden next door was also excellent. Hosts were a wealth of information on things to see and do. Room was right along a set of stairs that is frequented by tour groups and random tourists walking, had to keep the blinds closed so they couldn't see in and some of them were loud enough to be clearly heard in the room."

"Excellent location right inside the old city. Easy walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, bars and more. Check-in happens at a coffee shop outside Ploce Gate, so be prepared to walk 8 mins to the hotel. Fairly easy walk, but cobbled streets. Inside, the property, rooms and decorations are immaculate and beautiful. No elevator, so a fair bit of stair climbing. Minor point: safe wasn't functioning in my room due to previous guests leaving it locked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. John...
