"We loved the location of this cozy cottage in Manapouri. We were able to walk into the village easily and grab dinner and it was a short drive to Te Anau. The owners provided great information about the local area and hikes and had lots of great books about the area. We definitely felt like a local staying here and it was a perfect getaway spot. (We especially loved listening to the melodic birds while sitting on the patio.) "

"Planned weekend away fell just 2 days after massive storm that resulted in a regional emergency. Host Kaylene was wonderful to deal with and said she would refund us if we were unable to have the holiday (no power at home etc). Wonderful host. Home was toasty warm and welcoming. Spacious rooms, super king beds (x2). Great location to explore the Tuatapere area e.g Hump Ridge, beaches (Gemstone Beach!!), Clifden Caves etc. Highly recommend and we plan to come back.
