"The room worked but, there were some little things that could make it better. The sheer curtain against the sliding glass door had mold on the bottom, one of the beds had a sheet with a cigarette hole in it, had to watch the toilet because it would run through sometimes and, there was a small water leak around it in the back, also, the bathroom could use additional lighting. The most concerning part of the trip was the fire alarm was pulled during the night and, the alarm was not activated in our room. Luckily I hadnt fallen asleep yet and, recognized it as a fire alarm vs another guest's alarm on their phone. Parking lot was a good size, location was good and, the employees we encountered were friendly. The fire alarm incident has made my children say they never want to stay at another howard johnsons ever again."

"Great location with easy access to the many attractions that Mystic has to offer. Host provided a very warm welcome and was accessible with good recommendations."

"Staff manager was super rude and wouldn’t let the second adult check in AFTER I called on March 4th to add someone. The person on the phone said it was okay with no extra charge, took the second adults name and said we were all good. The day of check in, the second adult arrived the and the manager was being rude saying he wasn’t on the check in. Wanted to cancel and got no response. "

"Clean room. Front desk manager not friendly. Needed bedding for pull out couch. Said they would bring up shortly but it never arrived. Kid slept on mattress with a blanket. Not happy. Had medical emergency in middle of night and desk staff had no idea where the nearest hospital was. Smiled but clueless. Language was a challenge. Would not likely stay here again "

"The fitness room almost all wasn't working. The pool particles were concerning from day two onwards. The renovations. They were fine honestly. Everyone was pleasant and made room for guests. Bringing breakfast to our room sucked and not having hot food available wasn't the best. The price didn't match what we got. "
