"Looks better in photos. Facilities were run down: bathroom sink basin was cracked and missing the drain stopper/cover, toilet flusher didn’t work properly, sink smelled like sulfur, and there was a futon couch that felt like sitting directly on uncomfortable springs. However, it seems clean, the mattress was comfortable and we enjoyed our private spa pool. Our room’s decorations were very basic, no cute colorful paint or anything else special as photos suggested."

"The Grotto was a perfect setting for our family reunion. Clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the indoor space as well as the several games and especially the shaded swimming pool and hot tub. The back of the house is desert landscaped with a beautiful view of the mountains. Norman was quickly responsive to a minor issue and the kitchen was well equipped including a nice espresso machine for my son the barista. In summary, a great venue for a family reunion. We would happily stay here again next year."

"HVAC unit had to be turned off because it was whining so loud, curtains had tears in it. If all you need is the least expensive place to sleep near the airport then this is it. The best feature is that it was clean. Rundown. I wouldn’t stay there again."

"This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have ever done. The house is lovely and very well equipped - kitchen, tech, towels, etc all excellent. We didn't use the pool but the hot tub was beautifully clean and easy to warm. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood with lovely views of the mountains all around. Walter and Miguel do an excellent job and are immediately responsive whenever we needed a little help - even suggesting places to hike and shop. "
