"I love this hotel, I stay 2-3 nights each week and the staff all know me and are super helpful and professional. In a 5 star hotel, it’s the service that sets the hotel apart and that’s so true here. "We stayed on a Sunday evening so probably less busy than many days. Plenty of parking which was free if you registered at the hotel for 24 hours from arrival so we had time to visit the cathedral on the morning of our departure. Staff were welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a modernised suite. King sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient with a fair degree of choice but would have been great if coffee machine available for more choice than just filter...

"What a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb...
