Waking up to the sound of birds, watching the sunrise over the river, and ending the day with a sunset in the same spot was something I won’t forget. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby, and the springs are just a short drive away, which made it the perfect location to explore and unwind. "Where to start, it was a great 4 days.When you drive in the outside does not reflect what’s to come. These hosts have created a wonderful vacation experience. The great room is huge. The pool table was used every night. The sofa and chairs facing the river were used often. The TV is big with its own sectional seating but we never used it. Kitchen is VERY well equipped. The star is the patio on the river. Tons of seating options and a view you will not tire of.Get early, the mist on the water is beautiful. At dark there is an owl that visits, the frogs start singing. All rather magical. Afternoons the boats go by. Lots of fun activities nearby if you can tear yourself away from the patio.Also a pool with lanai with a river view.This area is “Old Florida” at its best."

"All the details to make our stay enjoyable and truly relaxing were thought of ahead of time by the owners. The house is clean, cozy and inviting. All the drawers in the kitchen are labeled so you aren't spending time looking for anything or even trying to remember what drawer the silverware is in. The screened porch at the back of the house is perfect with table chairs and so many seating options to enjoy nature without needing bug spray or sunscreen. The kayaks are in great shape and they have different layouts for a variety of uses (and all the details are on a laminated sign on site)! Easy spot to launch and plenty of wildlife watching available. Will be returning "
