The bedding and linens were high quality, cozy, and not worn-out. The air conditioner was easy to operate and worked efficiently. The staff were also VERY welcoming and friendly. "Overall was a good stay. Listening stated a grill but didn’t have a tank so we brought a small charcoal grill. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. Pet friendly so we got to bring our dog. Kitchen had everything we needed except a pair of tongs. Close to Kroger, Family Dollar and Dollar General for any odds and ends we needed."

"What a great house and property. We were visiting the Caldwell area for a birthday party and reunion. This house fit our needs just right. Being dog friendly is a huge plus, as my dog enjoyed the wide open spaces of the yard and surrounding areas. We had a busy schedule outside the house so we didn’t get to use much of it, but what we did use was highly functional. The house is rustic, but in a charming way. I’d stay again."

"We were looking for a place to relax after a couple of long hikes at burr oak. When you first step in front of the door, you smell mustiness. Its even more so when you open the door. We smelled the linens on the beds and picked the one that didnt smell as musty. Even bath towels had a musty odor. Couldnt find the fridge and host told us it was under the stove. Found it after figuring out how to open it. Its a dorm sized fridge, which would have been fine, but it was half a block of solid ice...

"You could take the kiddos with you there's plenty of room inside and outside where they can play and there's a few owls that are hanging out around the place and there's a few turkeys out there as well its a nice quiet place once the sun goes down and what few cars that go past the place are in for the night it's super quite out there "
