"10/10. I stayed from Oct 7-13 in a superior suite because I didn’t want to share my space. It was absolutely amazing. The hostel as a whole was clean, cute, and safe. As a female solo traveler, safety was my main priority and I felt secure throughout my whole stay. The room was cute with an amazing view of St Giles Cathedral. I didn’t venture to the common shared spaces because my itinerary was full but the areas I did visit like the cafe and bar, I enjoyed. The location was perfect. On the...

"Very good bang for your buck. Would stay here again."

"It was ok for a 1 night stay. We didn't use any of the facilities. Not as close to the city centre as I had in my head but that was my own fault."

"Very good location."

"Staff were very friendly"

"The location is good and the design of the lobby is nice BUT the cleaning is very poor: 1- The shower is unclean at least in our room. 2- We asked them more than 3 times after they “clean” the room to make the bed and take the trash out. How do you clean the room if you don’t empty the trash bin or make the bed? 3- The lightbulb was flickering in the bathroom and it delays when it’s switched on. 4- The WiFi is slow."

"Nice hotel and property right next to the zoo. Terribly overpriced like much of Edinburgh in peak season unfortunately is the main downside."

"Great location in the heart of the city! Very delicious restaurant downstairs. Very helpful staff. Parking is quite challenging so keep that in mind. We found a place to park 15 min walk which was fine! Very gorgeous rooms. Would highly recommend!"

"Overall great location and services (smooth check-in, dedicated rooms for bag storage), good kettle and offerings, spacious room, comfortable king bed, clean surroundings. The bathroom was newly renovated, but the shower was tricky (the glass divider is a bit too short to shield water from spilling over), and the key panel was old-fashioned and seemed old. The service and location was so excellent that I couldn't dock a star. Note that there are a few steps at the main entrance!"

"love the localization"
