"Nicole was great greeting me and providing information. The breakfast was excellent. I rated good on the room due to there being a slight odor. Not sure if from smoking. The beds, however, were as comfortable as a much more expensive hotel. I had a great night sleep and that was most important."

"Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. "The entire site was very clean and well maintained. Cabin was cozy. The campfire with wood included was a nice touch and my wife and I loved the scripture everywhere!"

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Although it is off-grid it does have a mini fridge, A/C and a normal toilet (the toilet is located in it's own building attached to the main bedroom but is private and not inconvenient at all). The VRBO is on the owners land but is still secluded and very peaceful. We did not see anyone else while we were there and it definitely felt like we had the place to ourselves.At night we watched the fireflies and the the stars. Such a perfect spot to unwind.
