Honey Rock Landing

"My family and I had an amazing stay at Honey Rock Landing! This place is truly one of a kind. Staying in a cave and being able to look up at the stars made the entire experience feel incredibly unique and memorable. The farm-to-table cuisine was fantastic and made the stay even more special. We also loved having access to the boathouse and spending time paddle boarding on the pond. The natural-built swimming pool was another highlight—such a cool experience! Honey Rock Landing is so much more than just a place to stay. It’s an experience our family will remember for a long time. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!"

"Good stay just a little out of the way. We were looking to stay somewhere to shorten our drive to Carbondale coming from Ouray. Not sure if it actually shortened the drive. Anyway, the check in receptionist was very friendly, and we got to meet a very cute puppy she was dog sitting."

"I get a very nice hotel room with LOTS of room! The breakfast was ok, no pool, but the place was clean. Google directions will mislead you, turn in at the Mexican place not after."

"This is the second year that we have booked this extraordinary property for our family reunion. Scott And Kathy are the most excellent, communicative, friendly, and gracious hosts! Two years in a row, we have had the most relaxing and enjoyable experience on this breathtaking property. Never have I slept in a more comfortable bed! Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Anything we needed was always just a quick message away and Scott was a pleasure to deal with! We have already talked about booking again the same time next year! This will absolutely be our go to destination every single year. Beautiful views, quiet property, just LOVE the landscape. While it feels like you’re out in the middle of nowhere, you are less than five minutes from town. The property is nestled in the hills where all you can hear are the birds chirping and your own heartbeat. Just absolute peace. I feel refreshed and ready to tackle another year. Thanks, Scott And Kathy!"

"The Riverwood Resort is a small, but conveniently located hotel at a reasonable price. Unfortunately our experience was disrupted by a water / sewer problem impacting the hotel building. Staff reacted promptly and were accommodating, Since we chose to move to another hotel, we received a prompt refund for the second night of our 2 night stay."
