"This is by far the easiest review I have ever written. Excellence is almost unrealistic to achieve, yet after our one night stay at Majestic Jewell, it is the perfect word to describe my husbands and my reaction. First off, we rarely stay at a non-water view place but since it was one night and a 2 hour drive from our home, we decided we wanted to really get to know the area. We visited the Gulf Specimen Lab in Panacea, Carrabelle History Museum and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reveserve where we walked the trails and boardwalk to the powery white sand beach. And then to the accurately name Majestic Jewel of Apalachicola where are eyes beheld the most stunning remodeling and totally refurnishment of what was first a private home, then a bank and now the eptome of "Excellence". We were warmly greeted by June and after a brief tour of the downstairs living area, husband and I settled into comfortable chairs on the front wraparound porch for our personal happy hour. We later dined at Up The Creek Restaurant where we and other diners had access to provided binoculars so that we could scan what only can be described as the one of the best panoramic view in Apalachicola. One reviewer said that June & Greg had provided every concievable need a visitor might have...and then some. TRUE as were all the other reviews. The Majestic Jewel will exceed your expectations and provide a most wonderful experience."

"Girls trip to your beautiful town and hotel. This was my 2nd visit and was very happy. Our room was so comfortable and love the balcony. Stopped in the bar for a nightcap and walked away saying “he’s the best bartender” (Thanks for all the laughs). I highly recommend the historic hotel. I’m looking forward to my next visit!!"

"This was one of the best-maintained and most thoughtfully stocked rental properties we’ve ever stayed in. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed—from a great selection of appliances and cookware to an excellent washer and dryer.We especially appreciated the peaceful privacy of being right on the bay. With four children, space is always important, and this home provided plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. Our family loved spending evenings watching the sunsets from the deck and taking full advantage of the pool, dock, and kayaks.When we ventured out, we enjoyed exploring the local breweries, fresh seafood, and nearby beaches. This property truly offers the best of both relaxation and location—you won’t regret choosing it for your next vacation."
