"Perfect for 2 people, 4 would be too crowded. Grill and fire pit were clean. The shower was great with plenty of supplies instead of little bottles. Bring some food as it's about 20 minutes to a store or restaurants. Awesome mountain views."

"The cottage was clean, roomy, and equipped with everything we needed (and more!). It was comfortable and the decor has lots of charming details. We had wonderful weather, but had it been rainy out we would have been cozy and well-entertained anyway. We didn’t even get to the jigsaw puzzles or video collection. We paddled the kayaks out onto the pond one morning to enjoy the foliage amidst a bit of mist and it was serene and beautiful — it was great to be able to easily do that. Communication with the hosts was easy and we didn’t need much of it — they had already thought of everything. Would definitely stay there again."

"Lovely cabin with private yard and great views. Quiet. Beautifully decorated. Well stocked. Joy was very responsive to messages and questions. Would definitely stay here again. We love the pittsburg area and this cabin was perfect for our needs. Thank you for sharing and making properties like this available."

"This place is really nice and deceptively large! It's family friendly and the host is super accommodating. Waterfall/rapids right off the porch and one morning we saw a bald eagle cruising along the river right from the deck.The space works well for a couple or can work for large families too. We'll be coming back for sure!"

"Perfect location for hunting grouse in the North Country. One turn off Main St Rte 3. No driving around looking for unnamed roads in the dark. Clean and well appointed. The property was wanting for nothing. Even a buck pole for deer hunters. The gas grill and fire ring would have been more than enough but an outdoor gas fire feature on the porch made our stay even better. Well thought out. A separate hamper for wet towels. Little things that add up. This is a great location for four seasons. Fishing hunting snowmobiling. Saved a fortune over the “big name”lodge nearby. Recommend eating at the Rainbow Grill at Tall Timbers at least once. The check in was anxiety free too. The door code was sent three days ahead of time so no worries if I’d get it before getting up there."

"We loved this property. We got in after dark and to see the fog lift in the morning to reveal the beautiful mountains was the perfect spot for morning coffee. This cottage was a perfect respite after a day full of tromping around the north woods."
