"The hotel was only a short drive to the centre of Barnsley. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection of items to choose from and the coffee was excellent. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful."

"Overall stay was quite impressive. First time staying here. I stayed 4 nights with my son. Large car park and long was impressively so big. Cleanliness was good and staff were good too. A bit of let down which I could have taken advantage of. The closure on my door was not working which means it never closed itself so had to ensure the door was closed. I had gone out and when I returned to find my door was left wide open. I had gone down to reception only for the duty manager to be making excuses for why it may have been left opened. I had to stop him and say rather than make excuses call your housekeeping team to find out when they attended my room. I found out the room was left open for at least half hour. I had high value items in the room thankfully nothing was missing. Other than that I enjoyed the stay"
