"They room was very nice. Clean with upgrades and decorated with ferrier decor, very clever. We enjoyed the deck and the view. We also walked on the drive back to the River house. It was getting late so we did not walk the trails, but we saw deer and one fearless fawn! We decided when we come back, we will try the River house, since it is in the woods and we would be more likely to walk the trails.
Our only complaint is the room was cold and we did no figure out how to raise the temperature....
"It is a 5-10 minute walk to Silver Beach. It is a block from the shopping area. Many restaurants nearby. We asked to check out an hour later (12 instead of 11) and we were accommodated. We went on a Monday for an overnight stay. The only thing is that restaurant/bar at the hotel is closed on Monday. It was open for breakfast on Tuesday morning. Beware some restaurants for breakfast are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays.

"I absolutely loved this property! They were so kind to our family from start to finish. My daughter had trouble sleeping because she forgot her medication. My wife had to drive 2 1/2 hours back home, 2 1/2 hours back to bring it to her. She woke up late for breakfast, but the staff was so kind and hooked her up anyway. "We liked everything about this property.
We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it.

"I haven't stayed in a best Western for years. I mean at least 35 years. This stay has put Best Western back on my list of desirable options. It was clean!!, comfortable, had a good breakfast and the staff at check in and check out were all friendly. If I come back to St Joseph/Benton Harbor, I Will be happy to stay here again. Bonus they are walking distance from Walmart, Celebration Cinema and a short drive or a small walk from Biggby Coffee. "
