"Hotel from hell, all Night and all morning mysterious banging from all parts of hotel. Creaking banging all hours of the night. Couldn’t sleep"

"Lovely stay but next door guests made such noise until 2am 😭"

"The property was spotless, clean, the bed and open area spacious, but the bathroom, especially the bath area, was not big enough to move around. The room temperature was colder at night. Breakfast was good, with a variety of choices; the gym space is small and lacks enough equipment. Most importantly, it is a nice place to get a quiet, relaxing break, and I would recommend it to loved ones and friends for a good staycation. Also staff were friendly and consider coming back in future."

"It was comfortable, quiet. The diner was reasonably priced and there was plenty of food. My only very slight grumble is that there was no decaf coffee in the room. It was good value for money. The staff were helpful. Thank you"

"All was ok, room, cleanliness, amenities and breakfast. Comfy bed and pillows. Some very friendly staff, others not as engaged. Only criticism would be parking that we didn't realise would cost extra. It was £3.50 for overnight stay."

"Stayed for 1 night with family during trip to Bristol. May stay again, will just avoid having dinner there. Positives: Staff really nice, friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast, varied selection - cooked breakfast, pastries, cereals, fruits, yogurts, pancakes ("make your own pancakes" machine was entertaining!). Swimming pool good size for a hotel, well maintained and water pleasantly warm. Good location, close to local attractions and easy drive to central Bristol. Main negative -...

"Really nice property in quiet location. Food was great"

"This is a lovely place to stay with with bright clean and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was included and offered a good selection. There was waitress service and the dining lounge was pleasant. My only reservation is that there is no emergency phone number at night should guests need to contact staff but overall I would be happy to use this hotel again."

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"Terrific staff, very kind and friendly. Free breakfast was good, restaurant was great for dinner. Big room with big bathroom, nicely updated."

"Lovely room. Nice breakfast."

"Perfect stay to visit friends"

"Room not aging well. Stained carpet. Bed linen clean. Towels clean. Shower ok."

"Amazing"

"Fabulous hotel in a beautiful setting and grounds. A little on the pricey side but worth it to mark or celebrate a special occasion. A good base from which to go out exploring, or to take in a round of golf right there on the doorstep. Would recommend and indeed return."

"Expensive but it is Bath tbf. The modern block on the side of the original building is fine but bland. Could be any standard hotel room. Food also expensive but it’s a nice experience."
