Beautiful location, stayed two nights in a room with river view. Great property to walk our dog along river and grassy areas to play on. Older property but nicely kept. Friendly staff. Walking distance to train and historic Durango. Grocery store next door. Loved our stay.

Historic Strater Hotel
Nice hotel close to everything. The rooms/shower are a little small but thats to be expected in a historical hotel. Love that there is a bar and restaurant right downstairs. Free eaay parking. We would stay here again.

Everything was great, from the hospitality at check in, to the room, to the nearby brew pub recommendation by staff, to the in house breakfast, to the easily accessible river walk. we will be back any and every time we are in Durango.
