"Clean tutu welcoming staff although the check in could be earlier "

"The room was extremely spacious, with an enormous, comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. I would have liked a coffee but couldn't find instructions for the machine and a pack of biscuits would have gone down well. Breakfast was delicious. "

"I expected to be in the annex, but the room was very good and had a balcony. Food was excellent, generous portions. To be honest, I thought the wine was a bit pricey. Very nice garden, and plenty of parking. The hotel is a training hotel, so the staff are knowledgeable. "

"An ancient pub with fantastic bedrooms. Easy parking, excellent range of beers in the bar, great staff, clean and well looked after room. No restaurant at the pub but a fantastic breakfast basket in the room. Really nice place. Thoroughly recommended"

"Excellent little find. Amazing value, comfy king sized bed. Friendly staff at check in, which was quick and simple. Generous complimentary breakfast hamper, teas and coffees. We asked for extra milk in the morning, which we was given. Very clean room - great power shower. Beautiful quiet village. Lots of little shops, bakery and pubs. We ate at The White Heart - Green King (we booked a table) and the food was delicious. "
