This is a wonderful property. Owners are absolutely the best! My family enjoyed the stay in such a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will be back!

We had a great stay and the house was perfect for what we needed. We came for our nephew graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. It was an easy drive to the base and provided enough space for our family to be comfortable while visiting.

We came to watch our son graduate from MOS school as a MP for the Marine Corps. The guest house was charming and peaceful! We loved our stay and are now even discussing coming back to do a fishing trip on the Piney River. I would definitely recommend this property! The only issue we ran into was Google Maps. If you are going to Ft. Leonard wood, DO NOT TRUST THE MAPS! My advice is to map Uranus fudge factory and then go to the base from there. Stop in while there because their fudge is fantastic! 🤍

Cute rustic getaway

Great place to stay, had a Christmas family gathering and managed to fit 6 adults pretty comfortably.

Nice, quiet property

We stayed here while attending Family Day and Graduation for our daughter at Fort Leonard Wood. Drive was a little further than expected, but it was a beautiful trip and not outside of reasonable. It was a very quiet neighborhood and we much appreciated not being in the middle of a city.

Great secluded siesta

Great secluded siesta, if you need to travel to town often. It wont be for you. Accuracy is = no hottub

sweet place

It is so quiet here! Plenty of rooms. Beds are nice and big. Kitchen is very big with two large bathrooms. I like to cook, so the aforementioned kitchen size was important. If you are looking for a quiet place, overlooking some fields as you drive down, checking out the cows and horses, and big ole trees to get some work done or no work done, this is IT. Host is very responsive and helped us with many questions of nearby stuff. It was definitely home away from home. No fuss.

The host was very welcoming and kind. He was up front about an issue with the house and we adapted to it easily. We all slept well and relaxed. We were able to spend valuable time with our son who is stationed at Ft. Leonardwood. My only complaint is that it is a little farther from the base than I'd like, but that's because they have one of the base entrances closed. This is just a tip for future military families, not because of the renters' issues! Just plan accordingly. My Sailor liked that it was away from the base and he could relax. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner together and some amazing bonding time in a comfortable setting. I'd definitely rent from them again if we were to ever visit the area! Thank you Chad for being so kind!

Great Place to Stay - Army Graduation from Basic Training

We loved this property and the hosts were amazing. It's a little quirky (the layout is on the odd side), but it comfortably slept five of us and provided the space we needed. I wanted to leave a few bits of information for those utilizing this property for seeing their loved ones graduate from Army Basic Training. First of all, if you're making your reservations at the beginning of your loved one's basic training, before knowing exact graduation dates, family day takes place on the Wednesday of graduation week and graduation takes place on Thursday. You'll want to plan on being there on Tuesday night as family day starts at 10:00 am and they want families to be at the gate around 8:00 am. As of this writing (April 2024), the East Gate is open from about 5:00 am - 8:30 am. That means if you plan on arriving at the gate after 8:30, you'll need to go to the main entrance (the north gate), which is about a 35 minute drive from the property. You can take your soldier to the property on family day as it is within 50 miles of base. Graduation takes place at the parade grounds (which is about 35 minutes from the property if you're using the East Gate) at 10:00 am and then you'll have your soldier again for the day. Consequently, I would plan on leaving on Friday. I hope this helps. Enjoy your stay!

Fantastic spot

This rural property was perfect for our trip! We went down for a wedding and enjoyed this place. Cool decorations, and a lot of free space. My friends describe it as a very nice hunting cabin type feel.

Perfect Get Away

The house was clean and nice and quiet away from it all. A great place to stay while visiting Fugitive Beach.

Bad floors

The floors in this house are so uneven the bed was down hill in the extra queen bed room, very small didn’t sleep but 6 maybe 7 we had to blow up a mattress, it says sleeps 9 but there’s no way,very old home made to look newer but it needs work still. Bad floors
