Had two dinners at Smoke Pizza—great pizza and calzones as well as delicous brownies! A little hard to find coffee but good coffee is available at the Maverick gas station."

"This place is a hidden gem in a very small town. I would definitely stay here over anywhere in Moab. The rooms were very well kept and comfortable beds. The staff were probably the friendliest we've ever had at a hotel and very helpful. And the breakfast was by far the best we've ever had in our many years of traveling. Anyone staying anywhere near this area should stay at the Stone Lizard!"

"This is a charming motor in that is well-maintained and still has some character from the early days of car travel. The check-in went well with a friendly manager/owner. The unit was clean and comfortable and even the in-room coffee was tasty! The room has a small fridge, which is great for cooler stuff, and a microwave. There's a small breakfast but I left before it was available. Definitely value for the cost and fun to stay in an old-school motor lodge. I'm happy to support such a business."

"I had booked this property for the wrong year - yikes! At the last moment I messaged the rental person and told her my dilemma. She worked with me (I was in and out of cell coverage on our hour-long journey from where I first messaged her till we got to Blanding) and was able to have a condo here when we got here-whew! Can't say enough good things about communication. The condos and parking was as I expected as well. Great stay."
