"Five weeks driving around Greece and this is our favorite hotel so far. We needed to slow down a bit and this relaxing property was the perfect place. The views out over the sea from the immaculately maintained pool is amazing. You can just read a book and enjoy being there. We booked 3 nights and extended for 2 more. Ellena, behind the desk is a vey friendly and helpful resource for dinner ideas and is just fun to talk to. The local restaurants are impressive., fun authentic Greek cuisine. Lots of locals dining out. Breakfast is great, served outside on a deck with a fantastic view. Highly recommend"

"We spent three wonderful weeks at Villa Douros with friends and family and it was easily one of our all-time travel highlights. The house is thoughtfully designed with a separate parents' retreat on the top floor for privacy and two downstairs bedrooms each with their own ensuite. All rooms are air-conditioned. The pool is fantastic and the views over Parga are breathtaking with spectacular sunsets every evening. While the walk back from town is a bit of a climb, it's worth it. We were even able to enjoy the fresh grapes and pomegranate from the grounds. Parga offers a variety of nearby restaurants that are reasonably priced, so we ate out for most meals (the kitchen only has 2 small burners which are challenging when cooking for 6). Christos and her family were delightful hosts who were responsive and helpful throughout. Christos' mum would pop by to clean the outdoor areas and although we didn't share a language, we always managed to communicate and she was such a sweet lady, we felt adopted by her by the end of our stay. Villa Douros exceeded our expectations with comfortable accommodations, great amenities, perfect location, and beautiful views. We absolutely recommend it and would love to return one day."

"I would stay here again. Location was excellent. Amazing views of the castle, ocean, and city. The stairs aren’t a problem for me as I’m fit. The reception man is really cool. I liked him. You need to call a day before so they save your room otherwise they may give it away. It is a safe location. The drive up the hill is narrow so be prepared. It is minimalistic not a 5 star hotel. So if you’re a lady I’d say this is lacking in the soft touches for a man or someone who’s just looking for a cool location at a decent price this is for you. I’ll come back if possible"

"Great stay, location was nice, included breakfast was great, along with the meals we had at their restaurant. Traveled with an older parent and were fortunate that our room was in a convenient location with not many steps. Other rooms would have been tough to get to. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend and stay there again."
