"Very hard to find fault. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Dining options were great. Spa facilities were wonderful, and at the times we were using them (pool, sauna etc) quiet. Obviously not cheap, but a very good destination hotel with wonderful views over the Champagne countryside."

"Romain was an excellent host. The apartment had everything you'd need with 4 bedrooms (2 ensuite plus 1 other bathroom). It was clean and cosy and we wished that we'd stayed longer to enjoy it more. We went to a few champagne tastings and the location was perfect with a couple of champagne places right next door! Hautvilliers now has 2 restaurants that open in the evening which was great news after doing our tastings and not wanting to drive...We even stopped by Romain's honey shop under the gîte and did a delicious honey tasting!"
