"With the exception of some noise travelling from the adjoining room on one of the nights on our stay, the experience was great. We loved the location, the amenities, the friendly staff, cleanliness, and roomy lodgings. Lovely experience."

"The house is lovely and in a beautiful development with wonderful views. Very quiet neighborhood and enough parking for five cars. Golf and hiking in the vicinity and a nice restaurant at the Westin Hotel, a ten minute walk away.Kitchen nicely equipped. Three of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The door to the deck was broken, so the only way to use the deck was to go through one of the couple's bedroom, awkward.The second kitchen had a plugged sink when we arrived until we checked out, The stairs down to the third deck from the lower level had not been cleaned of all the bobcat scat in a long time. It was a lot and difficult to avoid.There are two Yale key code pads. One at the front door and one on the backdoor on the lower level. We assumed that they both would have the same code, wrong, and so we were locked out down stairs and had to get our way to the front door in the dark.The agent insisted that no shoes be worn in the house. They should provide disposable slippers or at least told us in advance so we could have brought our own house shoes or slippers."

"The place was clean, but it was represented as 2 bedrooms, which it was not. One bed was in the kitchen,with no wall in between, so no privacy. There was no heater that I could see & it was a bit cool in the morning & evening. Near the end of our stay, I complained then she told me that the heater was in the closet, but it was a little late. First day we were there she complained about the noise, which we didn't even make any noise, we were very quiet, in fact the first night we didn't even take the luggage out of the car. Then she said it's just a reminder, which I wasn't impressed with. When I booked it I asked if we had to share the space with someone, she said we get it all to ourselves, but that was a lie, later on I find that they are living upstairs, making noise,then they complained about the cigaretes butts that were in the ash tray!! It was a lot further from Victoria then it stated. I would never stay here again. I don't like false advertisement. I didn't feel comfortable because of the noise complaint. Not nice after paying so much to be there."

"We had a lovely stay. Our dog loved climbing around the rocks and exploring the waters edge, and we loved relaxing and listening to the water, and watching the seals. The hot tub was such a treat! Rachel responded quickly to our questions. Would highly recommend!"

"Property was fantastic and met our needs perfectly. Living area was spacious and laundry room was a bonus. Kitchen had everything you could need. Having an enclosed garage puts this place over the top. Amazing views as well."

"This was our second time staying at Bear Mountain Get-Away. We were not disappointed as our second stay was as wonderful as the first. This well appointed suite provides luxurious comfort in a completely private location. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We love sitting outside in the evenings and the hosts have thought of everything - regardless of rain or shine!"
