"Hayward Haus was incredible! My husband and I loved it so much that we now want to build our retirement house in this style! I know Cassidy can’t control the weather, but we lucked in to 5 gorgeous fall days of hiking in the area. The cabin has everything you need, the wood stove was easy to use (thanks to the lumberjack providing wood ;-) ), and breakfast on the deck looking out at that view every morning was just what we needed. We saw bald eagles and listened to loons while laughing at the geese that populated the cove. When you’re here, do yourself a favor, turn off your phone, ignore the news, and get out there on the lake in the canoe. Can’t wait to return! "

"Great property, easy to find and centrally located to Hayward. Downtown is less than a mile, maybe a 10 minute walk. Property was clean and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only suggestions are somewhere to throw dog poop bags outside, maybe provide poop bags (although we always have some), and finally, maybe put some non-slip in the showers. I highly recommend the property, if it wasn't so hot we would have had a fire outside. "
