"C’est un hôtel très bien situé, sur le circuit touristique. La terrasse avec vue (partielle) sur la baie est très agréable. Le déjeuner est très bon. Heureusement que ce n’était pas la période la plus chaude (fin mars) car il n’y avait pas d’air climatisé, je n’en ai donc pas eu besoin. Il n’y a pas de TV, mais ce n’était pas nécessaire pour moi. "

"Every member of staff was excellent, so kind, helpful and efficient! We were switched to a more comfortable room at no extra cost and we absolutely loved our new room. The hotel restaurant is fantastic, eagerly accommodating my gluten free diet. We loved the pool and hot tub and chatting with other guests. We highly highly recommend Casa Higueras!!!"

"This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. The room (I chose #3) had a view of the garden/ courtyard and was always cool and comfortable even in the hot weather. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Located on the corner is a lovely cafe, and many more shops and cafes and restaurants are located a couple of blocks away. If I am so lucky as to visit Valparaiso again I will definitely be staying here! "
