We booked this place for our anniversary, expecting something nice and comfortable. It was a huge disappointment. We checked out 30 minutes after checking in!
The building is old and the room had a musty, stale smell like it had not been aired out in years. The carpet looked dirty and we would not take our shoes off. The room was small and uncomfortable. The balcony has an odd shape with two cheap plastic chairs. It is not even possible to sit together properly. The TV is tiny and placed in a corner where you cannot even watch it from the bed. We did not use the bed, but there were stains on the pillows.
The photos online are very misleading. In reality, the place is dark, dusty, and outdated. Worst of all, this disappointment cost us almost 300 dollars. Way too expensive for a place that feels this cheap.
We were looking forward to celebrating something special, and instead we were left frustrated and upset. If you’re planning a romantic stay or any kind of celebration, please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place is not worth it.
