I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. "There were no locks on both door to the balcony that did not lock. No towel holders or hooks anywhere in the house for bath towels or any other clothes item. No toilet paper holder in bathroom. We said we were four people and they only gave us three bath towels. The pullout bed in the living room was like a rock to sleep on. The map shows the house where the car park is, when in fact the house is not where the map says it is. The landlord said the map shows where the residence was and it wasn’t....

"We had a lovely welcome on arrival - all the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Had a delicious breakfast - plenty of choice - cooked freshly for us and well presented. This was our second stay - we would definitely return and recommend. "
"Fantastic location for castle and train station and very quiet hotel. Nearby taxi rank if need, although we used Uber. We didn’t eat in hotel at all as we were out a lot, and used pubs, cafes and local restaurant ( although all overpriced due to tourist location). Service as hotel was really good and the fact as train travellers they could look after our luggage before check in and after check out made a massive difference to us. standard Room spacious , quiet, well equipped, comfortable, a little dark and dated but fine for us.( Note light sensor in corridors and bathroom can be pretty slow to react). No phone in room a little inconvenient but okay. I only gripe was the mobile phone signal/ internet was awful in our room, poor near hotel entrance and generally around Windsor so hard for us to plan , especially our travel."
