"Easy parking, friendly staff, all clean but a little dated. Club next door for meals & refreshments. A little expensive but very convenient."

"We did not stay at this property. On line listing had provided a photo of sea and ferry terminal indicating that property overlooked same . It did not. Main window looks out onto a busy road , with cars parked all along it. The main gate , under house , ground to roof height was difficult to open , 2 sides ,both locked at ground and roof. Even property owner had difficultly closing. We left and found great accommodation close by with sea views"

"Lovely staff and great pub! Clean rooms, comfy beds, and great pressure in the shower!! All you really need. Short walk to the beach and easy access to coffee shops and supermarkets. Pub meals were excellent!!"

"Upon arrival the staff at reception was warm and welcoming although when we checked into our room I was far from impressed. Our towels were dirty but had been folded in a way to try and disguise the dirtiness. The bed covers and sheets had stains on them which was appalling and the hot water didn’t work in our room. It says it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel but honestly wouldn’t go past a 1 star. Very disappointed. "

" All the staff members were friendly and thoughtful. The cabin was compact (pretty small) but modern, really clean and practical. 2 x Good swimming pool, 2 x Good Jumping pillow, for both little ones and bigger kids. The staff and cleaners were working hard every day to keep this holiday resort nice and clean. There is a massive playground including a big skate park nearby. We had a great stay and so we would like to come back here one day. Highly recommend. "

"We found the Boathouse to be an exceptional location with the jetty and fishing opportunities making a perfect short holiday for our family. Even though there are surrounding properties it still felt secluded and private. We enjoyed watching the ospreys and pelicans fishing for their dinners. Perfect hosts with all information and conveniences provided. "

Plenty of room to spread out, a wonderfully well equipped kitchen, fabulous verandah for outdoor dining and chatting, exceptionally clean and well maintained house. Comfy beds, easy parking and even a library. It was a pleasure to stay here and made even easier by the professional booking and check in processes. Thank you , we will definitely be back. "
