"The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable from the moment you enter the door to the friendly chatter at the bar, and the peaceful breakfast at the Greenhouse. The hotel is rich with history and it's designs reflect it so much so you almost feel you were transported to colonial America. "
"Excellent Hotel! Large rooms with kitchens and a sitting area. Very clean. Large gym. Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Minutes from DC without the high price tag. The breakfast was fresh with a lot of yummy choices and a very friendly staff. I would stay here over and over, "
"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made the experience even more special. Couple of things, the shower tub did take a while to drain the water, and it was hard to adjust the temperature to lukewarm. There was also a false fire alarm drill that had my family and I worried but other than that, The stay was fantastic! The lady at the reception was phenomenal and everybody was friendly!!"
"Clean rooms, grateful for umbrella and tote bag ready to use on our commute. Liked that each room had a safe. Staff was nice. No place for luggage, no drawers to unpack but small closet space. Overall great place to stay. "

"This was our first boutique hotel and we absolutely loved it. So cute. Can’t wait to try more places like this in the future. Just adorable and the workers were super nice and helpful too. Room was so pretty. Loved so many things.
If I had to criticize anything at all, and these are minor complaints, it would be that they don’t have a basic coffee maker or a keurig. Just a very fancy cappuccino maker. I’m a basic girl and look forward to my basic coffee at home lol.

"What a delight! If you like old hotels with charm this is fun. Rooms are huge. If you are into modern sterile hotels this isn’t the one for you. I stayed with my elderly mom for a few days of site seeing and it was absolutely charming. Staff were superb!"
